Creating and Modifying Schedules in Acre Access Control Cloud

The purpose of this article will be to go over the process of creating and editing Time Schedules using the Schedule List Widget in Acre Access Control Cloud.



Creating New Time Schedules
To start, you will need to add the Schedules List Widget to your Dashboard. To do this, Click the + Sign on the Bottom-Right corner of the Widget Dashboard. Once you have opened the widgets list you will need to Select the Schedule List widget by Clicking the + sign to the Right of the name. Click Done to complete this action.

You can rename the Schedule List to Schedules at this time by either Clicking the Gear Icon on the Right of the Widget screen or Clicking the Pencil and Paper Icon next to the current Name that appears after Clicking on the Name itself. .

Note: The Pencil and Paper icon will not appear until you Click in the general area of the Existing Name and then place the cursor to the Right of the Name. Click Enter once you are done with setting the names.


Once you have finished modifying the List name you will then need to Create a New Schedule by Clicking the + Symbol to the Right of the username. You will be able to see the + Sign once when you Place the Cursor on the Schedules Widget. A new window will open.

You will need to Name Your Schedule. It is recommend that you name your schedule according to the time and dates that it will affect. For example. M-F 0800-1700 or M-F 8am-5pm for a Schedule that works Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

If the Schedule is a One-Off Schedule, you will be able to set the One Off Schedule Date by Checking the One Off Date Check-Box and Setting the Date for the Schedule using the Calendar viewer. (To open the Viewer Click Anywhere in the Date Box)

To Add a Schedule DurationClick the +Add Schedule Duration button. The Duration Will appear in the List View and you will be able to Select The Day of WeekTime (Start and Stop) as well as the Holiday Group you choose for the Schedule to Ignore (Always On).

Note: By selecting a holiday group box, you are assigning the schedule to be active even during the holiday group date. This effectively ignores the holidays in that holiday group. 

Clicking on the Time Box for either the Start or Stop time will Open the Time Editor window. Moving the Circle around the Clock Face will edit the time. You will have to do this for both the Hour and Minute settings. You can Adjust the AM or PM by Clicking on each respective button under the Hour and Minute settings. Once Done Click OK to Save the Settings.

Once you have Completed  Setting Up your Schedule, Click Save and then Click Cancel. Your New Schedule will appear in your Objects List.

Modifying Existing Schedules
To Modify an existing schedule, you will need to Click the  to the Right of the Schedule Name. Click Open. The Schedule Information window will appear.

In the Schedule Information window, you will be able to Rename the Schedule or Modify any of the existing Settings. To Delete a Schedule Click the Delete button on the bottom right side of the window.

Once you have finished modifying the schedule, Click Save and then Click Cancel to close the window. For more information regarding schedules and their use in the system please contact your Reginal Sales Manager (RSM) or Technical Support.
